Family law has always appealed to Amanda, as she personally knows what it is like to be a child of divorced parents. Amanda enjoys knowing she can have a positive impact on someone during one of the most difficult times of their life. Her goal is to provide competent and compassionate representation, while working towards her clients desired results.

Amanda has been licensed to practice law in Texas for 14 years. During that time she has exclusively practiced family law, and handled cases in Bexar and its surrounding counties. For almost a decade, Amanda worked at one of the largest family law firms in the nation. She utilized her experience and knowledge to not only handle cases, but to provide management oversight to attorneys in multiple states throughout the firm. It was this experience and her unwavering desire to impact those in a family law case that led her to partner with Ashley to open Clepper Harrison & Duffy, P.L.L.C.

Amanda is a Texas native and has spent the past two decades residing in the San Antonio area. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Thereafter, she went on to graduate law school early and received her Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law.

While in law school, Amanda was a staff writer for The Scholar: St. Mary’s Law Review on Minority Issues. She also studied law in Innsbruck, Austria, through the Institute on World Legal Problems where U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia was a speaker.

Amanda lives in Comal County, Texas with her husband Cody and three children, Teagan, Emmalee and Hunter.

Amanda has practiced exclusively family law in Texas since being licensed in 2009.
