Chanda Clepper

Associate Attorney

Chanda chose to practice family law because it combines her two passions: the opportunity to continue learning and the ability to help improve the lives of those around her. From divorces and custody battles to terminations of parental rights and adoptions, the practice of family law often involves complex issues and a multitude of emotions. Chanda prides herself on being adaptable and compassionate to help her clients navigate through their current situation and into their new normal.

Chanda grew up in Austin, Texas before relocating to San Antonio to receive her undergraduate degree. Chanda received her B.A. in History from The University of Texas at San Antonio. She went on to receive her Juris Doctorate in just two and half years from St. Mary’s University School of Law. While at St. Mary’s, Chanda served as a Staff Writer for The Scholar, St. Mary’s Law Review on Race and Social Justice and as a site coordinator for the Community Justice Program’s Veteran’s Clinic. In 2017, Chanda received the San Antonio Bar Foundations Pro Bono Service Award for her work with the St. Mary’s Community Justice Program.

While attending law school, Chanda was able to intern for an international family law firm where she worked along side Ashley Duffy and Amanda Clepper Harrison. It was this experience and the relationships built during that time that led her to join Clepper Harrison & Duffy.

Chanda has been licensed to practice law since May of 2017. She spent her first 4 years primarily in Comal and surrounding counties. She has since made Comal County her home and couldn’t be happier.
